Who sends these messages

MyKidRoute LLC sends SMS messages to parents and guardians who have opted in to receive notifications about their children's school pickup, safety alerts, and activity updates.

Types of messages

  • School pickup verification alerts
  • Emergency safety alerts from your child's school
  • Activity session reminders
  • Pickup game day reminders
  • Account security codes (MFA) — sent regardless of SMS consent
  • Service updates and notifications

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity and your child's school schedule. You may receive up to 5 messages per day during active school days.

How to opt in

You can opt in to SMS notifications during account registration by checking the SMS consent checkbox after entering your phone number, or at any time via Account → Security → SMS Notifications.

How to opt out

To stop receiving SMS messages at any time:

  • Text STOP to +1 (833) 346-1173
  • Go to Account → Security → SMS Notifications → toggle off
  • Email support@mykidroute.com with subject "Unsubscribe SMS"

After texting STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

Costs

MyKidRoute does not charge for SMS messages. However, message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Contact your carrier for details.

Consent not required

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or using MyKidRoute services. All app features are available without SMS consent. Account security codes (MFA) are sent as a security measure and are not subject to this opt-in.

AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and most major US carriers.
