1. About MyKidRoute LLC
MyKidRoute LLC ("MyKidRoute LLC," "we," "us," or "our") operates a child transportation coordination platform that connects families with vetted, background-checked drivers for safe, reliable rides for children. By creating an account or using our services you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent or guardian account. By registering you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal authority to consent to rides on behalf of the children in your care.
3. Ride Services
MyKidRoute LLC is a platform that facilitates transportation arrangements. Rides are provided by independent contractors ("Drivers") who pass background checks and comply with our safety standards. MyKidRoute LLC does not employ Drivers and is not responsible for acts or omissions of Drivers beyond the safety standards described herein.
All rides are subject to state-specific regulations. Bookings may be blocked in states where MyKidRoute LLC has not received required Transportation Network Company (TNC) permits.
4. Pickup Verification
Every pickup requires a PIN match or QR code scan between the Driver and the authorized pickup person. You are responsible for ensuring that only persons you have authorized can pick up your child. MyKidRoute LLC maintains audit logs of all pickup events.
5. Subscription & Fees
MyKidRoute LLC offers a Family Subscription at $19/month that waives per-ride booking fees and enables recurring scheduling. Non-subscribers pay a per-ride booking fee. All pricing is displayed at the time of booking and is subject to change with 30 days notice.
Emergency ride premiums, preferred-driver premiums, and pooled-ride pricing are described separately at time of booking. All prices are in U.S. Dollars unless you have selected an international market.
6. Cancellation Policy
Rides cancelled more than 30 minutes before scheduled pickup: no charge. Rides cancelled within 30 minutes of scheduled pickup: a cancellation fee may apply. No-show fees may apply if a Driver arrives at the pickup location and the child is not present.
7. Safety & Reporting
If you believe your child is in immediate danger, call 911. For non-emergency safety concerns, use the in-app incident reporting feature. MyKidRoute LLC investigates all reported incidents and may suspend Driver accounts pending review.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyKidRoute LLC's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the ride giving rise to the claim. MyKidRoute LLC is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages. Some states do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury, so the above may not apply to you.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Delaware.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email and in-app notification at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of MyKidRoute LLC after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
